Maritime Academy Charter High School (MACHS) has a strong tradition that promotes good sportsmanship and integrity. Our intent is to provide an opportunity for MACHS' cadet athletes to develop their academic and athletic potential through practice, training and competition. We are members of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Philadelphia Public League.

MACHS offers varsity sports including cross country, basketball, track, softball, baseball, cheerleading and rowing. Our teams are very competitive and the MACHS crew team has gained regional recognition. All MACHS cadets in grades 9 -12 are eligible to compete in the interscholastic athletic program by maintaining satisfactory attendance, behavior and academic standing.
