Maritime Academy
It is with great pride that we welcome your family to Maritime Academy Charter School! Where we always strive to “Be Rich In Kindness” and a teammate, alongside you, for your child to experience the best educational experience possible. We know that change can be difficult so we want to help reduce your child’s anxiety when it comes to attending our school, their new school. To that end, we have created an orientation program that will allow you, and your child, to better understand our operations and to gain an appreciation for what it means to be a Maritime cadet!

It is with great pride that we welcome your family to Maritime Academy Charter School! We know that change can be difficult so we want to help reduce your child’s anxiety when it comes to attending our school, their new school. To that end, we have created an orientation program that will allow you, and your child, to better understand our operations and to gain an appreciation for what it means to be a Maritime cadet!
During orientation cadets and their families will receive valuable information regarding classroom expectations and course requirements. This will enable your child to have a successful transition to Maritime Academy Charter School.
New students are expected to attend this orientation. All new cadets will report to building 202 at their scheduled time. Cadets will meet their teachers, get a tour of the campus, and attend an orientation class. We ask that a cadet be accompanied by only one parent or guardian so that we can optimize the space in the meeting room.
During the orientation, parents will be able to meet our CEO, as well as the school’s principal and vice principal. You will also learn about our Home and School Association and how you can be an involved parent here at Maritime. Bus Transportation for cadets is NOT available for orientation.
